Speaking formats

Niels Pflaeging is available to you as a keynote speaker, for impulse talks and roundtable discussions. He also serves as a presenter and moderator of workshops with durations between half a day and three days. The choice of content and the way of presenting it is always catered exactly to his audiences.


Niels´ vivid and competent way of presenting, combined with a dose of Latin American temperament, adds energy and movement to your event or program.

Keynotes and other speaking formats


Impulse talks - the quick, high-impact format.  For groups of more than 21 attendees - up to 500 attendees or more.  Presentation or free, inspirational impulse talk by Niels Pflaeging. Duration may be very short (in a TED-like format) and can vary between 15 and 45 minutes.

Keynotes and presentations - the classic speaking format. For groups of all sizes from 50 to 500 attendees, or more. Usually varies in duration between 45 and 90 minutes, often followed by a discussion or Q&A session, if time allows. Total duration may vary between 45 minutes and 3 hours.

Public half-day workshops - the short, high interaction format for small to medium-size groups. For groups of up to 25 attendees, extendable to around 40 participants. 3-6 hours duration. Often includes a keynote presentation by Niels of between 45 to 90 minutes, followed by a discussion or Q&A session, and often a moderated group interaction or short simulation. Alternatively might consist entirely of an interactive “thought clinic”. 

One-day to two-day-seminars - the long, high-interaction format for smaller groups. For groups of up to 25 attendees, in-company or public. With lots of interaction, group methods, and discussion.

Knowledge conferences - the high interaction format for large groups. Makes use of large-group methods like “open space” or “world café”, depending on your needs. For groups from 21 attendees up, scalable infinitely, in principle, depending on technique. Duration may be one day, or more. These event formats will be adapted, in a modular way, to client´s context and objectives. Usually involve a keynote or impulse talk by Niels Pflaeging.

Clubs, Cafés and Fireplace Gatherings - the salon formats. Intimate gatherings for small groups of between 6 and 10 attendees, and free discussion. Participants are requested to speak out openly, confidentiality is granted. Usually hosted at a host´s office, or home,  or an appropriately intimate location. Up to three or four hours of talk, with drinks and snacks available during the session. Might be held during evenings, or, alternatively, as "breakfast " or "lunch meetings".
